Twink, the Toy Piano Band! Twink, the Toy Piano Band!

Review of Critter Club by Kai Nobuko from Yeah I Know It Sucks

Twink's Critter Club opens up like a curtain full of glitter and tiny sparkles of magic. When the decor has been revealed it's the atmospheric setting of the Critter Club. A sitting corner with a table and comfortable seating in which critters are placed playing a happy card game. They wiggle their ears and their tails while playing a illustrious game of tarot. What will the future bring these critters? A possible review here on Yeah I Know It Sucks? The first card has been placed and even though my ears don't understand anything in the critter language; it must have been a good card as music starts to play!

Is it a Dulcimer? A thumb piano? Where does it come from? A smacking beat played with a great infectious clap that could be coming from a cooking pan kicks in the melodic funk of critter happiness. Lovely melodies are spreading through the secret Critter Club and the critters leave the card game for a lovable dance on the table, upside down hanging on the curtain and swinging peanuts and confetti all around.

Suddenly a critter named ≈(• ^ (±) ^ •)≈ comes from under the table and with a lovely smile the critter takes us by the hand and invites us for a lovable dance while the other Critter Club members provide the friendly music that fits a sit down table dinner for critters perfectly; although we dance on top of the table together with our new cute friend that has a smiling face that is as adorable as the actual music.

For a moment the lights go off and on as some critter discovers the light switch and when we least expect it more lovable critters pop up with trumpets to bring ultra happiness that sounds like a great friendly party and everyone is invited to dance and enjoy the critter snacks with great pleasure.

Another critter L(≈ 0 w 0 ≈)¬ is a bit shy perhaps, hiding under teacups, looking from the back of the curtains and keeps a peeking eye on the pleasant happiness but sounds a bit shy. The critter also sounds a bit Spanish and just when we can hear that the critter loses its shyness to come out a tiny critter alien space ship beams the critter up and leaves before we can say goodbye to the cute looking fellow.

The incident is quickly forgotten as one of the critters makes the move to read your paw (or hand). The masked gypsy critter studies the lines in the hand while the other critters play the atmospheric violin and a lead critter named Twink plays the toy piano for the right mysterious atmosphere. The critter studies and observes every line in the hand but the fortune telling critter doesn't tell what will happen, perhaps it does but as my ears don't understand the critter language we will never know our faith in the future.

It doesn't matter as the serious business is quickly forgotten as the critters begin to bring out their friend named ( Ó_Ó )))))… who steps around on the upper legs and serves all the attending members of the Critter Club a special critter drink from a big vase and every critter that drinks it begins to smile and finger-snap to enjoy their funky drunk time which is a great temporary excuse for critters to act a bit silly, happy and a little bit crazy. Some critters roll over the table, some roll themselves up in the curtain as others climb up! One critter jumps fatally in the biggest toy piano ever to be invented and it gives a loud 'bang.' The silly critters laugh and enjoy their happy time and it is a pleasure for us to be a eye and ear witness at the going-ons at the secret Critter Club.

It is understandable that the Critter Club is a bit of a secret as imagine if everyone would know about it; there would be no more place for the initiated and the members of the Critter Club to dance and do their happy activities. Who doesn't want to be here and meet {^ Q (Y) Q ^}? When this critter shows up it's like one energetic blast of happy energy, awesome horns, cute melodic tinker bells and even some high tech rave moments!

The most pleasurable and memorable highlight of a Critter Club meeting is when it's time for main critter \{ ·* U *· }/ to be praised with the pleasure of music that sounds almost a bit French, but super cute and candy material that features the most happiest music that you won't be able to hear anywhere outside the Critter Club. The best part is when a pink sheep is brought in to sing the song that fits so well with the excellent critter music.

A moment of relaxation and seeing everything double from the special brewed critter booze can be all felt. Just look at the critter »–{ +__+ }—› who looks a bit intoxicated too. The music mood is a bit more cooler as if the critter ghosts of another time and space had come down to check what the new generation of critters have been up too and if they take the Critter Club traditions up in its honor.

A big fluffy critter who looks like this *(·.Ö (T) Ö.·)* is breaking the ice again as it goes around with the help of melodic music that builds itself with fat electro sub woofs and the unstoppable force of the toy piano. The critter bumps into all the other critters and gives them all a warm cuddle and a big hug for the ones that need it the most. Nobody is scared for critter ghosts as critter ghosts all have the lovely critter spirit of love, right?

Critter \_{ > n < }_/ has its doubts and rather squeezes its eyes wide shut but the other critters try to cheer up the crying critter with music.

All the attention and love of every critter in the room is like a source of warm love and soon the scared critter is again happy and content. Just look at the critter's face <(= U v U =)> . The love parade of critters clean up the interior of the secret Critter Club, the cards, the peanuts and confetti; everything is being nicely put away in order to leave the place with respect and dignity. The curtain closes and I can't wait to visit the club of critters again soon! Why not come along? It is a lovable amazing experience to see and hear and expect lots of critter cuddles! Oh and you can keep the special critter tarot cards when you order yourself a Critter Club CD over at the secret link.
